"So when's that baby coming?"

So if I get this asked this question one more time I might just sigh in frustration and walk away. Like I really know when the baby's coming? I hope it's soon but if you are expecting an answer you may be disappointed. No sign of that baby yet but I know we're getting close. The bags are packed, we've got a list of things to take, and I feel mentally prepared. So let's get this thing going already!

We've added the last touches to the nursery (thanks to the ladies at my Baby Shower). We hung up the rain drop mobile tonight. It turned out so well!

and for your viewing pleasure.... A Room Tour of Little Baby Trunnell's room:
(Not that I'm advocating the necessity of having a baby room. He'll sleep in our room for a while, but it was important to me to get a space ready and finished for the future.)

Sources: gifts from others and repainted (dresser), gifts from others and used as is (Town print on shelf, crib), dumpster dive finds (green shelf), Urban Outfitters Couch (already owned), TJ Maxx lamp, Etsy for some prints, Baby Shower gifts (birds on shelf and raindrop mobile)

Handmade Items: pillows on couch, some prints above crib, curtains

Favorite Item in the Room: I really think the mobile completes it

Design Inspiration: I used what we had and just wanted a lot of fun colors. We painted the room when we moved in and I wasn't about to paint it again. I didn't go with a theme because I though I would be changing it in a year or so anyway.

Alright kid, let's do this in the next few days okay? I'm running out of shirts to cover my belly.

The man behind the camera. This is where Adam sits to take our weekly pictures. (Yes that's a toilet, and it just happens to be across from one of the only blank walls in our house, so don't judge.)
